The Long Toothed Devil (Samoan Mythology) - By Sarah

In the village of Falelima there was a powerful devil who was called Nifoloa. He was possessed by a devil who had a long tooth. After Nifoloa's death the tooth grew longer and ultimately grew under the Earth to all parts of the neighbouring of Upolu. Many people were bitten by the tooth and this bite caused a bad sore. This evidence remains on the island of Upolu today. People who were bitten by this tooth are reffered to as Nifoloa.
