Why Ganesha's Prayer Comes First? (Hindu Legend) - By Reji And Kritesh

Long ago there was a boy named Ganesha and he had a brother named Kartik. They were playing by the Himalayas and then his mum and dad called them. Ganesha and Kartik ran to their parents and asked what had happened. Then Ganesha’s and Kartik’s dad Lord Shiva and Goddess Paravati said,"let’s see who is faster and whoever comes first after going around the world, his prayer will come first in this world". Ganesha and Kartik were talking about it and then they agreed  and told their parents that they were ready for th race. Kartik rode on a peacock and Ganesha rode on a mouse. Their mother and father said, "ready, set, go !". Kartik was in the lead with his peacock going around the whole world but Ganesha went around their mother and father. Ganesha said, "you are the world to me". His mother and father said, "ok". He went around his mother and father three times. Then Kartik came and said your are cheating. His mother and father said Ganesha went around the world three times.
Therefore, Ganesha was declared winner by his parents because Ganesha believed the parents were his world. The parents gave the gift to Ganesha saying that whenever lords prayer will be done by hindu's, the firt prayer will be for you followed by any other god's prayer.
